Lazy Sunday Service

Just been hit in the sweet spot. Sweet Money by Ernesto Mallo is a fabulous, multi-textured read. After the gut to the stomach at the end of Ken Bruen's The Dramatist, Mallo ends with a swift kick to the balls. A fine slice of noir, Argentinian style. Review in the coming days. After the fairly dark reading of the past couple of weeks, I think something lighter is in order. Next up was Outrage by Arnalder Indridason and Quarry by Johan Theorin, but I might try and slot something in before them. I don't imagine they're going to be the jolliest of reads.
