Benny launched into a shallow dive from a low wall.
The motorcycle helmet ploughed a small furrow then the momentum flipped his legs over his head.
‘Awesome!’ Stuey shouted. ‘Did it work?’
The boy lay lifeless.
‘Benny!’
A hand grabbed Stuey’s shoulder. ‘Out the way, son!’
Mr Nelson knelt down next to the boy.
‘Hey, son, you okay? What’s his name?’
‘Benny. Is he dead?’
‘I dunno, son. Could be unconscious; might’ve broken his neck. That’s why I don’t want to move him. What were you thinking?’
‘He was testing the helmet.’
‘More like stupidity.’
A drabble is a story of exactly 100 words.

This one really does show how people can be supremely stupid, Rob - and the tragedy that comes from it. Well done, as ever
