‘Why are we here again?’
‘Because Doyle said so.’
‘But why here?’ Francie kicked a stone across the rough concrete.
‘Why are we sent anywhere?’
‘I’m not staying here. It’s a shitehole.’
‘Who said anything about staying here?’ Joey headed between two run-down tower blocks.
‘Really? Here?’
‘Why not here?’
‘Because it’s a shitehole.’
‘And plenty of places to lie low.’
‘So, who is he then?’
‘She.’
Francie stopped walking.
‘What?’ Joey asked.
‘I’m not doing a woman.’
‘What difference does it make?’
‘It just does.’
‘You’ve developed a conscience?’
‘I’m not a monster.’
‘You’re hardly Snow White either. Come-on.’
A drabble is a story of exactly 100 words.

Nice look at the characters, Rob, even in this short drabble. Well done
