The first batch of my latest order have turned up. First up is going to be William Shaw's
A Book of Scars,
my original copy of which I managed to leave on a train when half way
through. This edition (right) has a different cover to my previous copy
(left). I think the original gives a better sense of the rural setting
of the first third of the book; the new one feels more like a sci-fi
novel rather than one set in the 1960s. Anyway, never judge a book by
its cover!
