I finished
No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy a couple of days ago. Earlier in the year I read Brian Hart's '
Then Came the Evening' and I've become a big fan of Daniel Woodrell (review of
The Ones You Do and
Winter's Bone). What links the three? I think they're all good examples of Country Noir. What I'm after is other recommendations that fit that genre. Any suggestions?

You have already one book from Comarc McCarthy, but I would suggest another one, just in case, Blood Meridian. Awesome.
