Irish drabbles

After having a go at a drabble (a story of exactly 100 words) for the first time last Sunday, I was quite taken with the art form. I've now persuaded a few of my colleagues to have a go at writing them for a series we're now running on the Ireland After NAMA blog - Postcards to NAMA. NAMA being the agency which has bought all the toxic property loans off of Irish banks. The idea is to produce a set of drabbles to represent life in post Celtic Tiger Ireland. I'm really looking forward to seeing what people produce. The first two sets of drabbles can be found here and here.

Rob - Thanks for sharing those Drabbles. The writing form is appealing, isn't it? And the ones you linked to are well-written and drew me right in. Very, very realistic, so not exactly what you'd call joyful, but compelling!

I´m glad the drabbles are getting around.
